Your responsibilities

In the role of tool maker/tool technician, your main responsibilities will involve manufacturing, maintaining, and repairing tools used in the production of springs and other steel components. The tool maker is responsible for ensuring that the tools used in production are in the best possible condition, which is crucial for smooth and efficient production.

Maintenance and repair: Regularly maintain and repair tools to ensure they function correctly and efficiently. This may also involve addressing issues that arise during production.

Quality control: Check the accuracy and precision of the tools, which is essential for maintaining high-quality standards in production.

Collaboration with other departments: Work closely with engineers, production staff, and others to ensure that the tools meet production requirements and that any issues are quickly identified and resolved.

Use of machines: Work with various machines, such as CNC machines, grinding machines, wire EDM, milling machines, and lathes, to manufacture and adjust tools.

Reading technical drawings: Analyze and understand technical drawings and specifications to ensure that the tools are manufactured according to exact requirements.

As a tool maker, you play a key role in production by ensuring that all tools are in perfect condition and ready for use. This work requires precision, accuracy, and a good understanding of mechanics and tool manufacturing.

Your profile

We prefer that you have several years of experience in the profession, are technically inclined, and have an understanding of quality and production. To succeed in this role, you should have good collaboration skills and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

You will receive some training from others in the department.

The position is full-time, daytime, and will be filled as soon as we find the right person for the job.
